This policy is provided by Image Devices (I) Pvt Ltd,
which operates KiddiesTV.
This page covers this website. Our mobile apps and our YouTube channels are also governed by the policies shown on their app store listings and by YouTube's own privacy policy.
1. Information we collect on this website
Most of this website is a simple set of pages with nothing to fill in. There are no accounts, no comments and no shopping cart. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not set cookies of our own.
There are exactly two places where you can send us information, both on the Contact page, and both are optional:
- The contact form. We receive the name, email address and message you type in, so that we can reply. We also record the date and the IP address the message came from, which helps us deal with spam.
- The updates sign-up. If you choose to sign up, we store your name and email address so we can email you about new videos, apps and free printables.
Both forms are for adults. The sign-up asks you to confirm that you are a parent, guardian or teacher aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we ask that children do not use these forms. Please do not enter a child's name, age, photograph or any other detail about a child into either form.
Nowhere else on this site do we ask anyone for personal information.
2. The mailing list, and how to leave it
We use the email addresses given through the sign-up form for one purpose only: sending occasional KiddiesTV updates. We do not sell, rent or share the list with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.
You can leave at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can write to us at the address in the contact section below and we will remove you and delete your details. You do not have to give a reason.
3. Videos embedded from YouTube
Some pages can show a video player supplied by YouTube. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which means YouTube does not store information about visitors unless a video is actually played. When a child or parent plays a video, YouTube receives that request and its own privacy policy applies. Links to our channels open YouTube in a new tab.
4. Links to app stores and Amazon
Our Apps and Books pages link out to the Apple App Store, Google Play and Amazon. Once you follow one of those links you are on their website, and their privacy practices apply. We do not receive personal information about you from those visits.
5. Information collected in our apps
Our apps are made for children and are designed to collect as little as possible. Where an app collects any non-personal technical information, such as device type or operating system version, it is used only to keep the app working properly and to improve it. Personal information about a child is not collected without verifiable parental consent.
6. Verifiable parental consent
If any KiddiesTV product ever needs to collect personal information from a child under 13, we will first obtain verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, and we will explain clearly what is being collected and why. A parent may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, and we will delete the information we hold.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any information we hold against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-party services
This site and our apps may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage parents to review their policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is material and affects information about children, we will seek parental consent again where the law requires it.
10. Parents: how to contact us
If you have any question about this policy, or you would like to review or delete information relating to your child, please write to us at . We aim to respond to every parent enquiry promptly.
11. Acknowledgment
By using this website you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
